The Shining Stars class represents the very heart of CAST & Crowns Performing Arts Center. Created for individuals with special needs, this program offers far more than dance and movement. It offers belonging, confidence, joy, and a place where every student is seen, valued, and celebrated exactly as they are.

 

Designed primarily for adults, with the opportunity for participants under 18, Shining Stars is offered completely free of charge. For many of our students, this class is one of the few spaces where barriers disappear and possibilities take center stage. This life-giving program exists because of the generosity of donors who believe that access to the arts should never depend on ability or financial means.

 

Each week, students walk into the studio greeted with encouragement, music, and a sense of purpose. Through movement and creative expression, they build confidence, form meaningful relationships, and experience the pride that comes from being part of something bigger than themselves. The smiles, the breakthroughs, and the joy shared in this room are powerful reminders of why this work matters.
